Royal Trophy Robot Competition
Deputy Governor of Ratchaburi Province Opens Royal Trophy Robotics Competition at Krab Yai Municipality Kindergarten School, Ban Pong District, Ratchaburi Province
At 4:00 PM on August 23, 2025, Mr. Khomkrit Charoenphatthanasombat, Deputy Governor of Ratchaburi Province, presided over the opening ceremony of the "MITR PHOL KRABYAI RATCHABURI GRAND ROBOTICS CHAMPIONSHIP 2025" robotics academic competition at Krab Yai Municipality Kindergarten School, Ban Pong District, Ratchaburi Province. In attendance were Mr. Kiattisak Homyenjai, District Chief of Ban Pong District, Mr. Thammarat Wongpitakroj, Mayor of Krab Yai Subdistrict Municipality, Mr. Wutthichai Bunlum, Deputy Director of the Office of the Ratchaburi Primary Educational Service Area 2, Mr. Wiriya Noimi, Director of Krab Yai Municipality Kindergarten School, school administrators, teachers, and students.
The "MITR PHOL KRABYAI RATCHABURI GRAND ROBOTICS CHAMPIONSHIP 2025" academic robotics competition, a royal trophy competition, is an extension of computational science studies and the promotion of off-campus learning under the Coding and Robotics project. This initiative focuses on supporting participating students in practicing their thinking skills, managing and coping with situations, and applying knowledge to prevent and solve problems. They can also receive and transmit messages, convey their thoughts, knowledge, understanding, feelings, and attitudes, and exchange information and experiences beneficial to their own and societal development. This initiative aims to create appropriate knowledge and information. The competition includes robotics competitions for manual control, automation, projects, and virtual drones. Participating schools nationwide are participating in this competition, aiming to expand their knowledge to their fullest potential and fostering learning about coexistence in a changing society. This program enables students to think analytically, synthesize, and critically address challenging situations, broadening their worldview and fostering creativity. Educational innovations can be utilized to benefit local educational development. The 2024 competition saw 540 students, teachers, and educational personnel participating from 166 schools in 47 provinces nationwide. The competition was supported by the Mitr Phol Group, the Thailand Robotics Club, the Thai Robotics Teachers Club, M Republic Supply Company, King Mongkut's University of Technology North Bangkok, and the Krap Yai Subdistrict Municipality.
In 2025, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn graciously bestowed six trophies, and Her Royal Highness Princess Ubolratana Rajakanya Sirivadhana Barnavadi graciously bestowed 12 trophies for use in the competition, which will be held from November 21-23, 2025.
